Update
SFI's New 2003 Compensation Plan has made
this update necessary. Read my success story below but some of
the information must be brought up to date due to the
compensation plan in effect now.
As before, the entire compensation
plan is made up of several income streams. But, basically you
move through the steps and tell others who join your team how
to follow in your footsteps. Get MIQ to double the
commissions.

Here are 2 more great reasons for
getting MIQ now:
1. As an MIQ Affiliate, you QUADRUPLE
the income streams you can earn from!
2. Seller's Commissions on every SFI
product are DOUBLED! For example, on an SFI product that pays
a $25 Seller's Commission, you'll earn $50 if you are
multi-income qualified. You do the same amount of work to
generate the sale either way, but the commission is twice as
much!

SFI.

condensed version.
Joined SFI
July 20, 2002.
7/31 Became
PTL qualified and got my own Powerline.
I was MIQ
and I had 3 friends to join and get MIQ – that’s it.
And got a
check for July of $68.91.
Received my
first income from Internet Marketing on August 15, 2002.
End of
August, my first full month of SFI.
I had 31
affiliates, 5 MIQ’s and made $99.36.
End of
September, my second full month of SFI.
I had 87
affiliates, 14 MIQ’s and made $271.91.
End of
October, my third full month of SFI.
I had 354
affiliates, 35 MIQ’s and made $710.28.

How do I get MIQ without buying anything?
OK, you can get MIQ by making a sale
worth 10 SVP points to a person who is outside SFI (who is not
an SFI affiliate). Sell a friend Shawn Casey's Mining Gold and
you get MIQ. You will not have spent any money.

What about the commissions they talk about on
the Sales Recap emails?
Ok the commissions reports that you
receive. There is a PTL Bonus Pool that is created each
month from a part of all commissions generated by all
affiliates. In order for you to get a share of this you must be MIQ. Your share will probably be about
as much as you paid for IAHBE membership. This share is
"banked" for you until you make Powerline Team Leader at which
time all the "banked" shares will be paid to you in cash.

How do most Affiliates get MIQ?
They put in a standing order for IAHBE. This is a repeating charge of $29.95 to your
charge card. They don’t have to remember to get MIQ to qualify
to get a commission. It’s just the easiest and cheapest way to
get MIQ and then you just concentrate on building your Team.
So What’s
the bottom line answer to how you make money in SFI?

Grow your Team!
OK, I had 27 MIQ's out of 346
affiliates that I got in 90 days. I will make $17 x 27 = $460
for those plus more from other SFI income streams. Now the
earnings look better, right. I did that by sending people to
my website to sign up. Some read smart start and got MIQ the
day that they signed up. Others took longer to get MIQ.

Ask yourself what have you done to grow your
team?
How many have you sent to your web
page? Did you add your Gateway page as part of your email
signature so it goes out to everyone you write to. Don't
forget to add something to it, like
"Help make the car payment by giving
stuff away from your home computer". OR...
"Start a College Fund for the Grand
daughter by giving stuff away over the Internet"

people will ask you how much money you have made so far. You
say that you are just starting but that your Team Leader has
had good success in only 90 days.

with SFI
It's written in Diary form.
With this information, you will be
able to accomplish more and do it faster.

the information useful in convincing others that SFI is a
great work-at-home opportunity.
I have started with what I did for the
last 30 days first since some of you already received what I
did my first 60 days. For those new here, the first 60 days is
at the end of this part.

Nov 11, 2002
– Commission reports are out. I made $710.28 for October.
Remember, now that this is still
mostly linear growth (you add 1, you add another….. 1+1=2), I
can’t wait for exponential growth to kick in (you add 3, who
each add 3,… 3 X 3 = 9).
10-1 Squeaked into the top 100 with
10SVP
After that problem with my Google ad
failing me, I switched to FindWhat.com. You’d better allow a
full week to get setup with FindWhat. First you wait to get
your account approved, then you create and ad, choose your
keyword and wait for a relevancy check. TIP…. When you set up
your ad do more than one, pick at least a dozen keywords---
that way at least something will get approved and get you
going. I’ll try to work on other tips as I have the time. Try
to keep looking for new keywords that are relevant and cheap.
Update for Google. The glitch got
worked out and I am getting nice results again, here. Google
is the fastest to setup and the most responsive for changes.
FindWhat.com grabbed the prospects
for me. I was simply AMAZED at the results.
In the ad’s 5 days, I got 69
prospects, (20 in one day) . 47 have so far opted in as
affiliates and 17 of the 69 have not received their 2nd
email.
Another affiliate used FindWhat and on
Wednesday, 10-16 got 50 (fifty) prospects in that 24 hour
period alone. WOW! Now he was paying like 63 cents per click
and each prospect cost him $4to5 each, but he expects to
reduce that by tweaking the payperclick price. This tells us
that there are plenty of people out there searching for their
own home business.
FindWhat accepts keyword bids as low
as 1 cent. Mine were costing more like 45 cents, I wanted fast
results.
Remember that pay-per-click is
dynamic. Keep checking your ad to see how you stack up to your
competition and make your counter moves. If it gets to hot,
put your ad on hold and sit it out for a while or try another
search engine.
Re-Invest your Earnings
One way to look at growing your team
ant the money you’re spending here is to think that you are
going to get it back from the affiliates you are recruiting. I
hit $250 in advertising expense, but then I thought, that’s
probably what my SFI check for September will be so I am just
reinvesting that commission check and growing my team.
I bought 250 email leads from Leaders
Group. These leads are just names and email addresses. They
are from people who have answered an ad and they have
requested info on business opportunities. You have to do an
email campaign (best using an autoresponder) to try to get
them to join SFI.
I have not had any success from these
yet.
90-day update- still no success here.
I bought 100 leads from Group Leader
Imad Hamdan's

They all came in at once last Saturday in about 4 minutes. 100
new prospects. These are already signed into SFI directly
into your Team as your personal referral. He makes five
follow-ups on each prospect to get them to confirm their
registration and become an Affiliate.
2003 Update: Imad has
now completed a year of running the coop. He has made major
changes and this is the best, quickest and cheapest way for
new or old affiliates to build their teams. You'll get new
team members within 2 weeks. The prices are cheaper than
pay-per-clicks. Get an order in TODAY!
Oct 6, Another affiliate just got MIQ,
made it into Top 100 at #81. (Vikki)
Oct 7 I have 31 SVP’s, now and moved
to #54
10/20 (The 90 day mark for me with SFI)
I had 308 affiliates in my Powerline,
21 MIQ’s and was at 29th on Top 100 Scoreboard.
My genealogy shows 221.0 svp while
scoreboard shows 188.5. I’m not really sure what accounts for
the difference.
I think my commissions this month will
be around $500 – not bad for 90 days of part time work.
Mistake
I got too busy, tried to do too many
ads at once and – failed to track ads properly. Don’t make
this mistake!
You need to know what you are getting
in signed prospects for each advertising dollar. Put a
different keycode on each ad and on groups of keywords if you
can. The measure how many clicks and how much money it took to
produce a signed prospect. You should convert 80-90% of
prospects to affiliates.

Long Range Advice
Start looking at long-term ways to
build traffic to your Gateway or your personal website.
What I mean is that there are a few
things here that will require lead time (time for the resource
to get put in place or get started) and get this things
started early.

I wish I had started my own website,
gotten it set up properly and had it working 60 days ago so
that I could be getting listed in the search engines and
perhaps tweaking it as necessary to improve my ranking with
the search engines. See this is almost FREE hits to your
site, zero cents pay per click. I am starting to work on this
one this weekend. No more rescheduling of this task.
I believe that Ken Evoy’s SiteBuildIt!
is going to be a great tool for me and for you. I bought this
a month ago but was so busy with payperclick ads and handling

Follow up with your Affiliates-
FAST---QUICK !!!
Remember to follow up promptly
(enthusiasm and excitement will vanish quickly). Until you
have your own story to tell—use mine as an example of what
someone you recommend SFI to can do it they provide the
motivation. Just do it. Each time as you move forward with SFI
you will have your own story, how many affiliates in your
Powerline, what your commission check was for last month. This
will become a story close to the Affiliate and will help them
to believe that they can succeed with SFI. There is a system
in place here and you just need to use the system. Make a $50
commission check, reinvest it in advertising and grow your
Powerline. Do the same thing next month. Advertising dollars
are best spent early. Get started early on those tasks with
long lead times.
Automating the Process
As I support more than 300 affiliates,
now I realize that you must find a way to try to automate this
process while still retaining a personal touch. I can’t
remember everyone’s name any more. You need to give me a
little bit of what we talked about in our email exchange
before and then, I’ll remember, OK! You will have the same
problem when you grow. I still am handling emails individually
but am trying to find an email merge program that’s easy to
use. It is difficult to keep track of who has finished
SmartStart and whether or not I have sent them the next email.
I know about autoresponders, but don’t see how I can set them
up for Affiliate follow up the way I would like for it to
work. I’ll figure out something here and will let you know
when I do.

Just a note about your commission
checks.
SFI made a change last month that they
will mail commission checks only if it is for more than $9.00
so if you are MIQ you would previously gotten a check for
about $7 (just for your own, single purchase), now it may take
2 months to reach the thresh hold and
receive a check. And remember to do the anti-spam agreement or
that will hold up the issuance of your check until you do.

days

7-20 I signed up for SFI
7-20 I read thru Smart Start and setup
my gateway website.
7-21 Got MIQ, bought Shawn Casey’s
Mining Gold
I got 3 friends to join under me, just
because I thought that I had found a good deal and wanted to
share it with them. And without realizing it, I got qualified
for PTL
7/31 Became PTL qualified and got my
own Powerline.
And got a check for July of $68.91
8/1 Started receiving leads from
Robert Howard, Alan English, and Michael Horne. Thanks to all!
Then I realized I didn’t know what to do with them. I asked my
upline for directions, got their advice and continued follow
up with the leads that I had received.
In August, I got business cards
printed with my gateway address and always had some available.
I printed up flyers from offline resources and posted them on
every bulletin board I saw, groceries, convenience stores,
etc.
I continued to talk about SFI to my
friends and co-workers.
By the end of August I had 31
affiliates in my Powerline.
My commission check for August was
$99.36.
9/1 I started advertising online using
Google Search engine.
If you are anxious, as you should be,
Google is fastest to setup with. Write your ad first. Figure
out Keywords. Figure what you’re willing to spend. Sign on to
Google ADWORDS and you can attract your own signups in an
afternoon!!
Using Google I added I got 44
prospects, 35 opted in and became affiliates, of which 7 got
MIQ and 1 got MIE. This would have been a little better but
on September 19th some sort of glitch hit my ad campaign and
only got 2 affiliates for those last 10 days. By the way
Google admitted there was a glitch. I will try them again.
(I was distracted by looking at a lot
of other opportunities on the internet. So to save you the
trouble and stress of doing that----- just take my word for it
SFI is the best---focus on SFI for the next 60 days and then
you will know that SFI is the best!)
I had 87 affiliates in my powerline
at the end of September
I’m not sure where I ended up on the
Top 100 Seller’s list – about #77, I think.
My commission for September, will
probably be between $225 and $250.
Now my friends and co-workers are
taking notice. They can make their car payment with that.
Now they are interested.
Suggestions
I had the most problem in talking
about SFI to my friends because I think that MOST people don’t
have a CLUE that anything like SFI even exists. I had to keep
telling them about the 7.3 million people and the 2,500 to
3,000 new affiliates who joined every day. I had to tell them
over and over, they just didn’t hear me the first time or two.
I had a co-worker who had signed under
me right from the start. He had tried for 5 or 6 weeks to get
his mother to join under him. No Luck. Again and again he told
her, still no luck. After he is MIQ so when his check for his
share of the Powerpoints pool come in ($6.92), now she is
immediately impressed, this thing is REAL, “Sign me up” she
says. He did. And then his mother in the next day or two signs
up the sister. So in this case a “check was worth a thousand
words”. So don’t miss yours, make sure have agreed to the
anti-spam clause (failing that, your check won’t get
mailed!!!) and GET MIQ so you are sure to receive a check and
can show the doubters in your life solid evidence that you can
make money on the Internet!
To summarize, what I learned during my
first 60 days, I offer these Directions:
Get MIQ and get 3 others to do that,
too.
Use the pay-per-click of your choice
to get prospects coming in quickly. You will be forced to
learn more as you manage these prospects. Follow up with
prospects as quickly as you can. Don’t wait for them, pull
them along with you.
Make notes, your actions and
accomplishments will become a story that you tell to others to
convince them that they can do what you did! Until you have
put in the time use someone else’s story. Remember that your
upline is ready to help whenever you ask.
The SFI system helps you all the time.

Ok now I know that's a lot to digest.
But it is all simple. You just have to do something. The focus
it to recruit more affiliates. The SFI system takes care of
product sales, or the affiliates just buy something that the
need. There are, remember, plenty of ways to accumulate SVP
points.
